Biographical Information 

I have a B.S. in Education from Buffalo State College, Buffalo, NY in mathematics, and have been a quiltmaker and teacher of quiltmaking for over 30 years, as well as a quilt appraiser certified by the American Quilter's Society for more than 10 years.

I teach quilt classes through community education programs in New York State in Ken-Ton, Maryvale, Starpoint and Williamsville schools, and judge, conduct workshops and give lectures involving quiltmaking. I have also been a substitute teacher in the Starpoint Central School system for over 30 years.

As a founding member of Amherst Museum Quilter's Guild in the Buffalo, NY area, which has been operating for more than 35 years, I am a former officer and have been chair of several committees. I am a committee chair for the PAAQT professional association of appraisers, and a past chair of walk-in appraisals at the AQS Quilt Show in Paducah, KY, and have presented programs regarding quilt appraising, as well as other programs in quilting techniques, for the Lockport cable television station as a guest of the Kenan Quilter's Guild. I was a finalist in The Professional Quilter magazine Teacher of the Year contest in 1997. My quilt, Windows of Western New York, Western NY Responds to 9-11-2001, has traveled to Missouri and throughout New York State.
