I have a B.S. in Education from Buffalo State College (NY) in Mathematics, and have been a quiltmaker and teacher of quilting for over 30 years as well as a substitute teacher at a local high school.  I am a founding member of the Amherst Museum Quilter's Guild and teach several quilt classes each week for various Community Education programs in local school systems in Western New York State.

I have been involved in all aspects of quiltmaking including dating quilts, fabric and pattern identification and construction.  As a certified American Quilter's Society (AQS) quilt appraiser, I subscribe to their code of ethics, including confidentiality concerning any appraisal.
